BCMA also supported the CIMB ASEAN Stock Challenge 2.0 stock-trading competition from 9 – 27 September 2017 which further promoted investment and capital market awareness to students in universities and institutes of higher education in Brunei.
A total of 143 teams from Brunei participated in the regional competition and saw one team from Politeknik Brunei emerging as the national champion and eventually represented Brunei in the regional final in Jakarta in January 2018 at which the team achieved sixth place. BCMA committee members collectively gave further advice and guidance to the three-member team during a pre-departure mock presentation and Q&A session for the Politeknik Brunei team.
